ABOUT INDIGIWOOD AND LEON SUTHERLAND

Leon is a proud Wiradjuri descendant, growing up in Gilgandra NSW, about 60kms North West of Dubbo and now resides in Orange.

Indigiwood Didgeridoos by Leon Sutherland began approximately 10 years ago after Leon, an accomplished artist and carpenter by trade, decided to try his hand at didgeridoo crafting.

Leon has always enjoyed working with wood and has honed his skills over the years and now crafts quality didgeridoos coupled with some amazing detailed artwork.

The didges he collects are mainly Eucalyptus bloodwood, mallee & yellow box.  Leon also makes many aboriginal artefacts including boomerangs, woomeras, shields and clapsticks but now wants to concentrate primarily on his number 1 passion- making quality Termite Hollowed Eucalyptus Didgeridoos.

Spirit Gallery is honoured to be the didgeridoo store that Leon has chosen to showcase his didgeridoos to the world.
